Onesies have never looked this good since infancy.

Onesies, rompers, jumpers... whatever you call them, there's no denying they are the hottest must-have item of the summer. They are the new sundress; one piece and effortlessly stylish no matter what kind of occasion, and they are virtually a no-brainer. They come in all styles -- halter, spaghetti-strapped, strapless, racerback -- and in all fabrics as well -- silk, linen, terry cloth, chino, denim -- though I much prefer the ones made of jersey and cotton because they are much more versatile. Dress one down with five dollar flip flops and some sunscreen, or dress one up in sky-high heels and big jewelry and you've got the perfect outfit that takes mere seconds to put on (or take off).

Here are some of my favorite choices, though you can find them at plenty of other stores including Zara, Forever 21, Target, Bloomingdales... you get the idea:

I bought one just like the tri-blend halter romper from American Apparel yesterday and I am so excited to wear it: to the beach over a bikini with flip flops, to a party with wedges and layered necklaces, on a date with a belt, tailored blazer and gladiators... the list of ways to wear this thing goes on and on...
