In a really good mood right now...

I'm supposed to be writing an essay on Darwin's Origin of Species right now, but I'd much rather talk about what I'd wear if I were a princess.

I would wear Elie Saab, and only Elie Saab, all day, every day.

And the last dress just proves why off-white bridal dresses are soooo much better.

Definition of Decadence

Christian Lacroix never ceases to wow me. His spring couture collection was exquisite. They would be considered downright gaudy designs if created by any other, but since it's Lacroix, the designs can only be described as detailed, luxurious, and beautiful.

I particularly enjoyed the lace tights, bold colors, and layered jewelry.

Pure as the Driven Snow

Chanel's Haute Couture S/S 09 show featured ensembles in white (with a touch of black) that were fresh and clean with crisp silhouettes and a sophisticated air.

Too bad the entire first half of the show bored me to tears.

The paper-cutout headdresses were more interesting than that clothes themselves.

Just when I thought I wouldn't be seeing any black... what a welcome relief...

And then it started to get interesting, thankfully. At least the whole collection wasn't a drag.

Sorry to the die-hard Chanel fans out there, but not every season can be great.

The shoes though... I'd love a pair of those.
