I love the 80s. I love acid-washed denim, jelly shoes in the summer, candy pink lipstick and blue eye shadow (just not together), leggings, neon, skinny jeans, Pac Man, Pretty in Pink... the list goes on and on.
I just reeeeeally hate this photo shoot.
Instead of using the 1980s as merely inspiration for the shoot and incorporating vintage with modern looks, it's like the stylist did a little too much coke before picking out the clothes, and therefore was a little too excited and energetic and over-excessive with the denim and leather and shoulder pads. Blahhh.
Vogue seriously missed the point of this edit. They went ahead and made it look like these pictures actually were from the 80s.
